MEET OUR PASTOR
A little bit about Father Garrett
We welcome Fr. Garrett Kau as the pastor of Saint John Church and School, Spring Green and Saint Luke Church and School, Plain! Father Garrett comes to us from Saint Jerome Church and School, Columbus and Saint Patrick Church, Doylestown where he has been the pastor for the past four years. His past assignments were Corpus Christi Parish which comprises of Immaculate Conception Church in Boscobel, St. Joseph Church in Avoca, and St. John the Baptist in Muscoda and St. Joseph Baraboo and Camp Gray.
Fr. Garrett grew up on a rural farm in Palmyra. He attended public school in Jefferson and Fort Atkinson, before graduating from UW-Madison in 2006, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in bacteriology. He attended St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado and was ordained in 2013 as a priest for the Diocese of Madison.
